Little Man's Second Chance "Chance" D.O.B. 10/18/02 Rescued at 6 months
UKC Registered
Chance was rescued at the age of 6 months in March of 2003. His left, back paw was bitten off by his mother at birth. He arrived with severe otitis (ear infections), demodex (mites), bald spots, no coat and underweight. Chance had been born in a USDA puppy mill in Nebraska and was terrified of the outside world. He was very withdrawn, hand shy and fearful. With much patience, time and love, Chance turned into a very active, healthy, and outgoing Cavalier. He now loves to be petted and held. He is a shadow and follows his owners around the house. Chance has a new, happy, and healthy life. This little man has been given a second chance at life and we were blessed to have him in our lives. Chance lived with us for five years, before we had the heart to place him. Our growing household, made Chance nervous and unpredictable. So, in 2008 Chance was placed in a remarkable home. He know lives a quiet life in upstate New York, with a wonderful retired couple on acres of land. He goes everywhere with his new family and he is the center of attention. His new best friend is a rather large cat, named Turnup.
